Stokes Croft Urban Farm, Bristol.
Concept project exploring the possibility of repurposing the iconic Grade II* Listed Carriageworks facade to create a new urban farm with indoor vertical growing spaces, a culinary school and public realm in the heart of Stokes Croft, Bristol.
The site had fallen into disrepair and the project presented an opportunity to rethink how urban spaces and their communities can be better connected to the process of growing food. The original facade was separated from a new glulam timber structure containing a growing hall and food market with an adjacent structure added to provide a culinary school and access to a tree-lined public square.
